**Your role within the team?**
- Oversee the development, implementation, auditing, and maintenance of Environmental Management Systems and Sustainability Initiatives for projects as the Project Manager or Environmental Manager.
- Coordinate and guide efforts to obtain and comply with environmental approvals/permits for projects from government/regulatory agencies (all jurisdictions).
- Develop, prepare and maintain project/task schedules and budgets for the environmental component of projects, including monitoring project progress, work hours, budgets and expenditures using project scheduling and cost control tools.
- Provide advice and guidance on environmental management as well as environmental compliance issues.
- Independently coordinate and manage external subcontractors.
- Effectively delegate tasks and activities to intermediate and junior staff and providing technical and supervisory guidance on assigned tasks.
- Assist with and, as necessary, taking a lead role in the development of proposals, qualification documents and other business development related activities.

**What will you contribute?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or Environmental Studies
- 10+ years of practical, progressive environmental consulting experience including construction environmental management and regulatory permitting
- Extensive knowledge of environmental management systems, including ISO 14001 as well as applicable laws, bylaws and regulations and legislative environmental requirements.
- Familiarity and demonstrated experience with infrastructure projects such as transmission lines, transportation projects (roads, highways, transit) and water/wastewater projects. Experience working on linear infrastructure projects would be an asset.
- The ability to lead, motivate and mentor technical and professional staff at different levels of career development.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of and experience with project management fundamentals including cost control, scope management and scheduling.
