**Summary**

Join FGF Brands as a Financial Analyst, Operations, where you will play a crucial role in driving strategic decisions through comprehensive financial and business analysis. This dynamic position offers a blend of operations finance and FP&A, focusing on daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, customer reporting, freight, trade spend analysis, and sales reporting. With 85% of your time dedicated to operations data and 15% to FP&A, you will be instrumental in optimizing performance and supporting continuous improvement in a rapidly evolving environment.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and business models that provide actionable insights for decision-making and process improvement.
- Perform detailed variance analysis on operational data, identifying key drivers and collaborating with teams to implement efficiency-enhancing solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by reconciling information across systems and initiating process improvements as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, effectively managing priorities and driving resolution of issues.
- Conduct cost analysis and KPI tracking to identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze non-operational spending areas and perform root cause analysis on significant variances to inform corrective actions.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, highlighting variances and recommending corrective measures.
- Oversee periodic and annual inventory reconciliations, ensuring alignment between internal records and third-party logistics providers.
- Assist in annual physical inventory verification and provide analysis to support inventory accuracy.
- Create ad-hoc financial models to evaluate the financial impact of various scenarios and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Weekly visits to manufacturing facilities required for on-ground collaboration and process improvement.

**Required Experience / Required Ingredients**:

- University or College degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or working towards a professional accounting designation.
- 2+ years of financial reporting and budgeting experience.
- Experience in financial and root cause analysis within a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, financial acumen, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners.
- Advocate for continuous process improvement and optimization.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple competing priorities, and demonstrate flexibility and resilience.
- Experience with SAP, VBA, and MS Power BI is an asset.
- Flexibility is required.
