**Assistant Manager, Commercial Underwriting**

Your success stems from your ability to effectively lead a high performing team, implement strategies to improve efficiencies and maintain underwriting guidelines. You have the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team, who contribute to the overall success of the business.

**Here is what a typical day looks like**
- Provide guidance and coaching to your team, identifying a succession plan
- Define and communicate underwriting requirements, implement workflows and processes
- Consult with insurance companies, oversee authorization required for Insurance Division
- Liaise with insurance companies, actuaries, and surveyors for risk assessment and product development
- Continue self-development through industry and community involvement, training and other courses

**The value you bring**
- General Insurance Level 3 License required
- 5 years’ experience with Personal/Commercial Line policies
- Supervisory experience leading teams, preferably in insurance
- Involvement in industry related associations and your community
- Professional communication etiquette, both written and verbal
- Well versed in navigating multiple computer programs at once

Hours: Permanent, Full-Time - 37.5 hours/week

Location: Remote in Canada

Salary Range: $83,000 - $114,000
