PAYROLL CLERK CUPE Competition No. 5602

**Location**: School

Board Office - Squamish

**Effective**: Immediately to May 31, 2023, or return of

Incumbent whichever occurs first

**Hours**: 7.0 hours per day, 12 months per year

**Rate of Pay**:
$31.37/hour

Duties &

**Responsibilities**:
Under

the direction of the Assistant Secretary-Treasurer and with the general

direction of the Secretary-Treasurer, generates payrolls for all School

District employee groups, and performs a variety of accounting and clerical

tasks.

**Qualifications**:
Completion

of Grade 12 plus one (1) year post-secondary education towards a recognized

accounting designation (CPA) and/or Payroll Management Certification or

equivalent, and over three (3) years current experience in computerized

payroll, accounting bookkeeping, or an equivalent combination of related

training and experience.

Knowledge

of database management/spreadsheet programs and ability to operate a variety of

standard and/or related office equipment.

Competition Closes Tuesday April 18, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.
