**YOUR ROLE**
We are looking for an **Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist** to join our close-knit team and we hope our search ends now, with you. This role has a **hybrid** work arrangement, required to work on site in our **Etobicoke** office with flexibility to work from home a few days a week.
Reporting to the Manager, Finance Reporting, the Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist fulfills the accounts receivable responsibilities for the Manion organization. This role focuses on efficiencies, quality and controls around all receivables transactions, and adherence to established policies and guidelines.
**YOUR IMPACT**
- You will manage day to day AR operations for Manion by ensuring proper coding of all receivables using excel, ERP, on-line bank access. You will prepare schedules for commissions receivable from carriers and correspond with carriers to clarify amounts receivable/received.
- You will ensure that all funds received are deposited to the bank account in a timely manner and is recorded accurately in ERP. You will assist weekly with the cash flow projection.
- You will maintain client Administration Agreements: preparing monthly invoices in excel drawing information from MPACS, Department Managers, and bill back schedules. You will follow up on any outstanding approvals. You will work with another member of the team to ensure all monthly billing gets recorded and assist with bank reconciliations.
- You will review, develop and implement AR operational procedures and ensure they meet compliance requirements.
- You will assist the audit team by preparing all information that may be required for annual audit review and will respond to auditor's inquiries.
- You will assist with the preparation of the annual budget, specifically items related to revenue.
**THIS IS YOU**
- You have a degree/diploma in accounting, finance or related field.
- You have 3+ years of experience in accounting & finance.
- You are able to work under pressure and multi-task to meet tight monthly deadlines.

This is a full-time, permanent position working a hybrid arrangement in our Etobicoke office. Your work week will be 37.5 hours a week, working weekdays for 7.5 hours daily, with occasional overtime. Our office is surrounded by amenities, and you’ll have free parking in our underground lot.
