Dentara Cabinets Ltd. is an Abbotsford based cabinet manufacturing shop primarily serving builders, contractors, and developers across the lower mainland. We have a 14,000 sq/ft shop, a great team of people, and have been in business for over 30 years.

**Who You Are**
- You are a motivated hard worker with a with a willingness to learn and a strong drive towards ensuring work is done well, safely, and efficiently.
- You ideally have at least 1-2 years experience in a woodworking facility
- You are comfortable reading and interpreting kitchen shop drawings and specifications, or have exposure to this and an interest in learning
- You are comfortable using large and small shop tools such as table saws, routers, edgebanders, and all other hand tools

**Responsibilities**

This role will assist the cutting side of the shop, and will supplement as a Builder when needed. You will be primarily responsible for:

- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Stacking kitchens as per drawings for efficient assembly
- Assisting in the management of kitchen parts and pieces throughout the shop
- Edgebanding and organizing parts coming off the edgebander
- Building and assembling kitchens, vanities, and custom millwork
- Operating shop equipment safely and efficiently
- Working with different materials

**Hours**

This position is typically Monday to Friday shifts, 7:30AM - 4:00PM. Overtime hours are available on occasion.

**Compensation**

Based on experience and qualifications. Expected range: $19.00-$25.00 per hour.

Benefits (Health and Dental) are available after completion of the probationary period.

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
