Dentara Cabinets Ltd. is an Abbotsford based cabinet manufacturing shop primarily serving builders, contractors, and developers across the lower mainland. We have a 14,000 sq/ft shop, a great team of people, and have been in business for over 30 years.

**Who You Are**
- You are a motivated hard worker with a strong drive towards ensuring work is done to a high quality, safely, and efficiently.
- You have 5 years experience building custom cabinets and millwork, veneering, laminating, and working with fine hardwoods.
- You are very comfortable reading and interpreting kitchen shop drawings and specifications
- You are very comfortable using large and small shop tools such as table saws, routers, and all other hand tools

**Responsibilities**

This role will assist the cutting side of the shop, and will supplement as a Builder when needed. You will be primarily responsible for:

- Read and interpret drawings and specifications from plans.
- Build, manage and assemble custom millwork, furniture, kitchens, and vanities.
- Plan and manage production tasks to make efficient use of time and equipment.
- Set up and operate production equipment to produce components according to drawings.
- Work with different materials including engineered wood products, veneers and fine hardwoods.
- Verify compliance of produced components with design documents.
- Assemble components into completed units using fasteners, adhesives, and joinery techniques.
- Prepare surfaces for finishing department.
- Work with other employees and participate in training new employees.

**Hours**

This position is typically Monday to Friday shifts, 7:30AM - 4:00PM. Overtime hours are available on occasion.

**Compensation**

Based on experience and qualifications.

Benefits (Health and Dental) are available after completion of the probationary period.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
