**OTR TIRE TECHNICIAN**

**Location: OK Tire Commercial & Mining Sudbury - Val-Caron, ON**
**Position: Tire Technician/Installer**
**Terms: Full-Time**

**Position Overview**:
Working as part of the Shop Team, the Tire Technician/Installer is responsible for executing any/all tire related services as outlined below.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Tire Services **_
▪ Tire Repairs - responsible for determining the best method of repair and then completing the task or making recommendations for replacement/warranty if warranted
▪ Installation - perform installation and proper balancing of newly installed tires ensuring that all check-points have been covered such as proper inflation, rotation, etc.
▪ Rotation - ensure proper rotation of tires, documenting of rotation for future reference
▪ Conduct after hour’s emergency road side service calls for commercial fleet customers.
▪ Accurately complete all documentation / paperwork in relation to service work and work orders.

▪ Provide explanation and recommendation for repairs or replacement of tires

▪ Ensure customer vehicle is kept clean and free from any damages while in our possession
▪ Take ownership of your repairs and strive to ensure all necessary components are completed to ensure customer satisfaction and zero return-defects
- **General **_
▪ Full-time position, **Monday to Friday** 8 to 5, overtime, on call
▪ Employees must wear appropriate coveralls as provided and ensure they are in a presentable condition (i.e. clean)
▪ Follow all Health & Safety requirements

**Skills/Qualifications required**:
▪ 1-3 years of direct experience as a field commercial and OTR tire technician
▪ Have strong attention to repair details
▪ Ability to work as an effective team member
▪ Job can be physically demanding, must be physically fit
▪ Valid driver's license is a requirement
▪ DZ driver's license an asset

▪ Boom truck certificate an asset

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
