This role is part of the enterprise-wide sustainability team shaping the future of impact within our brand and business. This work doesn’t just live in one function; social and environmental impact at lululemon is integrated in everything we do. The team leads and integrates our vision and initiatives across the company to create value for our brand, our collective (guests, employees, makers, ambassadors), and society. As a Program Manager for the Product Sustainability & Environment team, you will support various programs and initiatives with your excellent project management, communication, and organization skills.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Continuously develop and iterate lululemon’s existing sustainable material and process claims strategy
- Lead the effort to ensure partner vendors and lululemon locations have up-to-date trainings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), data collection and storage, and other requirements laid out in the various standards identified in the above strategy
- Lead the preparation, execution, and follow-up for required site and process audits related to individual claims standards, and the issuance of certifications (eg. Responsible Down Standard, Global Recycled Standard, bluesign, better cotton, etc.)
- Support the lululemon Brand team with creation of guest-facing messaging around key materials and certifications
- Support and be an active participant within the Product Sustainability & Environment team in related initiatives and processes such as product impact, product operations, sustainable material and product adoption, and others.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in areas of business, environmental science, têxtile or apparel engineering, or supply chain management; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5+ years work experience in sustainable supply chain management, specifically as it relates to sustainable material and process standards verification and certification
- Specific experience related to implementing Textile Exchange and other similar industry standards within an apparel supply chain required
