**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will:

- conduct, lead, and/or participate in research and analysis projects
- participate in the development of service specific policy or program frameworks
- provide consultation and liaison services regarding policy initiatives
- develop and maintain contacts with internal and external stakeholder groups to enable consultation and collaboration on research endeavours
- participate in the monitoring of policy and programs, and in the design and development of operational guidelines to evaluate impact and effectiveness.

**How do I qualify?**:
**Policy Development and Research Expertise**:

- You have knowledge of policy and research tools, performance management methodologies and metrics.
- You are experienced in developing and evaluating strategic policies and processes and translating policy into legislation.
- You have knowledge of policy, legislation and regulation development processes.

**Project Management, Facilitation and Relationship Management Skills**:

- You can provide project planning and leadership on concurrent policy development projects.
- You can work collaboratively with team members to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
- You can work with stakeholders to achieve mutual goals, and identify opportunities for collaboration.

**Communication, Relationship Management and Computer Skills**:

- You can prepare and present complex research analyses, detailed policy framework, speeches, briefing papers and other products.

**Innovation, Creativity and Strategic Thinking Skills**:

- You can link current action to business strategies and/or long-term perspectives.
- You can identify ways to create more value-added solutions for stakeholders.
