We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced formwork Superintendent to join our construction team. The formwork Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing the formwork material, workers, pour schedule and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. **Responsibilities**:

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all formwork activities from start to finish
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other contractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to identify potential issues or discrepancies
- Formwork layout
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, and progress reports

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of formwork methods, materials, and processes
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team of workers
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Solid understanding of budgeting and cost control principles
- Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards
- Proficiency in using technology tools such as Bluebeam for document management

**Salary**: $37.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Formwork: 4 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Edmonton, AB T5K 0H9 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Edmonton, AB T5K 0H9: Relocate before starting work (required)
