**Overview**
Summit Brooke Construction is looking for a **Night **Site Superintendent to work at an upcoming commercial project in Penticton BC. This role works closely with both the Day Site Superintendent and the Project Manager and reports to the VP of Operations. The site super is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling all project activities ensuring project instructions are followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The Site Super is responsible for scheduling, inspections and quality control, including adherence to and enforcement of Summit Brooke's Occupational Health and Safety Program.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Leading and managing the day-to-day operations on the project site regarding safety, planning and scheduling, site logistics, quality management, resource planning, material handling, and trade coordination to ensure the project's total completion within the project and company requirements.
- Managing sub-trades, trouble shooting as required to ensure timelines are met.
- Reviewing and working closely with the Day Site super to ensure lookahead schedules are on point.
- Maintaining all daily logs and records as per company and project requirements.
- Ensure security of site, monitoring who enters and leaves, controlling the flow of trades and deliveries to ensure efficiency.

**About you**
- 3-5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent, preferably in commercial construction.
- You have In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, specifically construction specifications, building materials, means & methods, and procedures.
- Capacity to lead and manage the project’s site team (contracted and internal team) and create an environment that promotes collaboration and synergy towards the project’s success.
- Be able to understand and resolve disputes in a fair and reasonable manner.
- Highly independent, driven, and dynamic individual.
- Experience using technology in the field - working knowledge of PM software, Microsoft Suite.
- Working at Heights, and First Aid Certification an asset.
- Experience enforcing company safety policies are followed for all individuals accessing the site.
- Ability to identify missing/gaps in scope, constructability issues, and opportunities to value-engineer through detailed construction documentation review and articulate these findings and proposed solutions clearly and concisely.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- construction: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
