**The Opportunity**

As a Human Resources Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to support our Corporate Human Resources team working on a diverse portfolio of recruitment initiatives. In this position, you will:
**Main Accountabilities**:

- Support our corporate recruitment team with local and national job postings
- Assist with the planning of campus recruitment initiatives and events as required
- Assist with creating and posting job opportunities on our local career site and additional job boards
- Act as the liaison for new hires by sending welcome communication, ensuring a smooth
onboarding and that all new hire paperwork is completed.
- Assist in the set-up of new hires in the HR database, ensuring consistency and data accuracy.
- Complete data analysis using Excel and other internal systems, identify trends and make process improvement recommendations

**About You**
- Currently enrolled as a student in a post-secondary Commerce or Business (Co-op) Program.
- Concentration in Human Resources is preferred.
- Superior verbal, written and analytical communication skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Solid interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
