**The job involves**:

- Supervising staff with regard to training, work assignments, scheduling, and administrative functions
- Strong understanding of all aspects of the EVS Department
- Conducting pre shifts, controlling inventory and preparing shift reports
- Promoting a safe and hazard free work environment thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
- Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Demonstrated leadership, management and team building skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, problem solving and decision making skills
- Proven organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strict attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of WHMIS and Health and Safety Act
- Ability to work in all Microsoft Office programs and Kronos scheduling system
