AP Coordinator - Job Description

We’re looking for a team player with a keen interest in building successful relationships with clients. Since our business environment is always changing, a willingness to learn and the ability to adapt are essential. Experience in the aviation or medical industries is preferred but not necessary. Applicants interested in a long-term career growth opportunity will receive priority over others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accounts Payable function
- Match invoices to purchase orders
- Weekly payment to vendors for all due invoices
- Calculate and enter expenditures
- Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger
- Practice effective Vendors relationship techniques
- Makes ledger entries and ensure accuracy of all transactions
- Complete all mission expenses
- hotel, airfare, catering etc.
- Track rebate(s) and credit to the customers for payment
- Make sure all receipts are submitted; Track down any missing receipts
- Track any catering expenses for Flight Crews - deduct from per diem
- Daily post office run
- Keep track of petty cash
- Willing to cross-train on bookeeping duties and other duties involving financial analysis as assigned from time to time
- Assist the Controller and Payroll/AR Adminstrator with duties as assigned from time to time

**Qualifications**:

- 1 + years experience with Accounts Payable function is preferred
- Minimum High School Diploma with on the job experience
- Effective Communication, Organization and Problem-Solving Skills
- Advanced Computer Skills including Microsoft Office (Excel,Outlook and Word)
- Ability to travel occasionally between the Hamilton Airport and bank, post office etc. (Mileage paid)
