This role will be based in **Mississauga, ON.**

**Your role within the team**:

- Support Planning and Scheduling activities.
- Prepare project schedule - Obtain guidance from senior level planners.
- Load Resource/Budget Schedule - with guidance and support from other planners.
- Set up Baseline Schedule - Provide guidance and support to lower-level planners.
- Update Schedule.
- Extract Primavera data files and send to the cost controller.
- Support other planners with the Issuance of schedule for internal use.
- Support other planners with the Issuance of schedule for External use.
- Prepare and update Resource requirements.
- Identification and explanation of variances between current schedule, plan, earned values and forecasts, and communicate to the Project Controls Manager, Project Manager.
- Present updates to Lead planner.
- Interface with other Project Control Team to maintain integrated cost-schedule project control system.

- Preferably basic knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Willing to learn project management/planning (i.e., critical path method, progress measurement and earned value technique) and experience in Project planning, analyzing and reporting.
- Solid report writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills are required with attention to details.
- Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
- Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work with staff, build and maintain good working relationships with Project Controls team.
