Account Manager, Sales Solutions

The person in this position is responsible to maintain, grow, strengthen and build business partnerships with a clientele composed of small, medium and large sized organizations for the sale of Point of sale financing products. He or she ensures consistency and balance between sales objectives, partner satisfaction, company priorities and portfolio profitability.

**Responsibilities**:

- In collaboration with Legal, Finance and Risk, negotiate and oversee the maintaining of profitable credit programs to business partners
- Create, establish and execute strategies designed to secure relationships with retailers.
- Serve as the contact person for both company and the partner on significant issues.
- Assists in the resolution of issues arising between merchant, merchants' customers and Fairstone in a manner that values both Fairstone’s needs and values, as well as the partner’s.
- Administration projects related to maintaining relationships and assisting other departments as required. For example, Merchant Services/Marketing.
- Monitor and maintain profitability of portfolio and devise action plans to ensure profitability hurdles are overcome.
- Constantly represent Fairstone and its values to the highest standards internally and externally
- Identify and initiate new actions and/or strategies to achieving goals
- Keep updated on technology solution for the product
- Keep updated on market and competitive status for the industry
- Support management and company positions and orientations

Qualifications:

- University Degree - preferably in Business Administration or equitable work experience.
- 5 - 7 years’ experience in sales and/or partnership management
- Strong French and English written and spoken
- Knowledge of competitive practices within the industry.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills are required to:

- Analyze market to identify business opportunities and understand the competition;
- Analyze market and internal operations to determine proper business mix and resource allocation as they relate to profitability;
- Research and respond to customer inquiries promptly and accurately, constant negotiation with both retailers and other departments within our company;
- Ability to perform financial calculations;
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (oral and written) with all levels of employees, management and customers and possess confident and effective public speaking skills.
- Maintain a high level constant representation of Fairstone’s values
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently while looking for ways to change/modify current processes for improved efficiencies.
- Result oriented
- Proficient in MS Office products to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and an overall digital environment
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Willing to travel and possess a valid driver's license.
- Flexible to work public holidays, weekends and evenings
