When you work for La Presse, you are working for an independent, not-for-profit news organization with an inspiring mission.

As a brand ambassador, the Account Executive will work with their clients throughout ad campaign lifecycles and reach out to internal department for complimentary expertise.

This hybrid role provides you with the flexibility of working from home or from our loft-style downtown Toronto Office. The Account Executive’s main priority will be building and establishing strong and long-lasting relationships with clients. Creativity is key in this area.

This strategic role is ultimately accountable for achieving the clients’ advertising goals while growing revenue within its territory.

What we are looking for
- A minimum of 5+ pertinent years experience
- A University or College graduate in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong interpersonal skills to build strong and lasting relationships with agency clients (at all levels of agency)
- Strong background with data and technology products to be able to understand and propose advertising solutions from our large product portfolio that are relevant (high ROI) to our diversified client base, many with different marketing objectives.
- Organized, proactive, hard-working, and responsible as a representative is the lead person accountable for developing and nurturing important sales territories. The representative will receive important support from internal functional specialists but remains the lead agent in revenue generation growth.
- Strong emotional intelligence to work collaboratively with internal functional specialists.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Digital advertising sales or buy-side background an asset.
