Corrcoat Services is currently seeking an General Paint Labourer to join our shop operations team in Surrey. This role will be responsible for assisting the shop operations team in a variety of functions such as shop housekeeping, blast/paint prep and assisting with handling/loading of materials.

**General Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Conducts general labour tasks in a safe manner that aligns with company compliance.
- Assists in handling/loading of paint/blasting material.
- Maintains an organized area when handling and storage of materials.
- Assists in prepping blast/paint material for crew.
- Lifting, moving, and organizing paint/blast material to assist the operations crew.
- Conducts shop floor housekeeping to ensure operation area is free from hazards.
- Participation in toolbox meetings to maintain a safe working environment.

**Working Conditions**
- Able to work in both outdoor and indoor conditions.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to handle physically demanding movements (bending, kneeling, crouching).

**Experience Requirements**
- 1+ years working experience in a construction labour position.
- Experience in working in painting/sandblasting is considered an asset.
- Forklift ticket would be considered an asset.
- Heavy material/rigging experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks that are considered labour intensive.
- Moderate knowledge in the use of tools is an asset.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team like environment.
- Completion of and level of First aid and other industrial training is considered an asset.
- Able to be punctual and demonstrates responsibility and accountability.
