**About the Position**:
The Sand Blasting Assistant position requires attention to detail, understanding of production flow, and willingness to learn and follow proper technique.
If you are looking for a job that produces immediate results and exposes you to new products and projects daily, then we may have a position for you.
**DUTIES**:
- Assist the Lead Sand Blaster with the transport of goods through the shop.
- Rack and prepare blasted parts for coating.
- Inspect pieces for proper cleanliness.
- Talk with teammates to keep production flowing.
- Attend and contribute to production huddles, safety meetings, and training as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Capable of reading and writing in English.
- Able to safely lift to 50lbs.
- Actively engage in problem-solving, not problem naming.
- Effective at time management.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow a process to completion.
- Prior forklift experience is an asset.
