PROFILE SUMMARY
Wesgroup is poised for substantial growth over the next several years and in preparation for this exciting and challenging phase, we are actively seeking a highly engaged, driven and experienced Data Management Analyst to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and deployment of process and solutions to consolidation information from a range of internal and external systems, files, databases, and other information sources to support and improve the management, accessibility and delivery of information and reporting to the organization.
The role will lead cross-departmental data management improvement projects to reduce data duplication and manual processes, improve information efficiency and automation, and provide the organization, including senior and executive leadership, with immediate access to the information and insights needed for strategic planning, reporting, and business decisions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multiple departments—Development, Sales, Construction, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, and more—to identify areas for improvement and design data process improvement solutions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the design, development, and deployment of data consolidation and reporting solutions.
- Support the implementation of data integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow across various systems, including data mapping, transformation, and cleansing activities.
- Support the roll out of master data management and data warehousing strategies.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation and process maps related to data integration processes, data management procedures, including data flow diagrams, system interactions, and training documentation.
- Manage the integration of data from various internal and external sources (Yardi, Excel, Lasso, Avesdo, Autodesk, web, etc.) into a unified system to ensure easy and quick access to data and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (Development, Finance, Construction, Sales, etc.) to improve and align data processes, reduce duplicate workstreams, reduce manual processes, and effectively communicate information between teams.
- Build required reports and dashboards that provide senior and executive leadership with timely information and insight into operational performance, project progress, and strategic opportunities.
- Continuously evaluate and refine data processes to eliminate redundancies, automate manual tasks, and improve data accuracy for better decision-making.
- Ensure compliance and best practice in relation to data security, governance, and privacy protocols in alignment with organizational standards.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Power Query, M Language, DAX, SQL, and experience with API integrations to automate data transfers between systems.
- 5+ years of experience in data integration, information management, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of database structures, maintenance, and management.
- Experience with Yardi, Lasso, Avesdo, Autodesk, or similar platforms.
- Proven experience in manipulating and processing large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Demonstrated ability to reduce data duplication and optimize information management across multiple systems.
- Experience in leading cross-functional projects to improve data flow, reporting, automation, and analytics.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Fabric platform.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to present information in a clear, concise manner to senior and executive leadership.
- Experience in real estate, construction, or property management fields is an asset.
