If so, we invite you to explore the exciting opportunity of becoming a **Construction Material Technician** with Calgary Aggregate Recycling (CAR).

**Responsibilities**
- Understanding, interpreting and submitting analytical testing on contaminated materials from construction sites
- Review client submissions to accept contaminated materials
- Laboratory testing of field materials, CDE output materials
- Review analytical data from materials testing
- Conduct data gathering and present organized, accurate and complete data with accompanying, compelling context to inform decision-making
- Prepare internal communications (verbal and written) and coordinate with teams regarding external reporting to promote environment and sustainable performance
- Conduct research regarding environment and sustainability trends and regulations relevant to environment and sustainability
- Recommend and assist with the development of processes which will ensure alignment between long term sustainability visions, short term tactical goals and priorities
- Collect, maintain and provide reports to management team and external groups
- Effectively communicate results and observations to clients, contractors and project engineers verbally and in written formats;
- Customer relations including facility tours, pricing, support and organization
- Management of Waste manifests
- Brand management and sales

**Qualifications**
- Completion of a related post-secondary program is preferred;
- Experience in the field of construction materials testing is an asset;
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license is required;
- Ability to lift 50lbs and complete field work in all weather conditions;
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work overtime and/or weekends as required;
- Proficiency with spoken and written English language is required.
- 3 Year Driver’s Abstract and a Claims Experience Letter will be requested at time of hiring.
- Proficient in Excel
