Position Overview
Reporting to the Owner, General Manager, Evening Venue Managers are responsible for ensuring events at Evermore Weddings & Events are executed in a professional, successful manner, and that the client, vendor and guest experience reflects superb service standards.
This position is a casual hourly position. The schedule is based on booked weddings and events and is based on evening hours, weekends, with some weekdays and occasional daytime hours.

**Qualifications**:

- Preferably 2+ years in an events/wedding/hospitality environment, meeting the needs of a wide variety of clients, with superb organization and customer service skills, preferably in a dedicated venue.
- Previous event/banquet manager supervisor experience.
- Must have an understanding of event, alcohol service, catering and hospitality procedures.
- Ability to trouble-shoot and solve issues under pressure.
- Ability to connect with clients, colleagues to establish positive experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as required, and be comfortable with tear down duties.
- Must have smart serve certification.
- Food handling certification and familiarity with venue/food/beverage industry best practices is an asset.
- First Aid:CPR is an asset.
- Willingness to work late hours and weekends

Salary $30 per hour

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5.5 months

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Almonte, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
