Summary:
This position is based out of Kingsville, Ontario.

Job Duties:

- Oversee and monitor the destruction process of cannabis plants, products, and waste materials.
- Ensure that destruction procedures comply with local regulations, company policies, and Health Canada guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of all destruction activities, including quantities destroyed, methods used, and disposal documentation.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and internal compliance teams to address any compliance issues or concerns.
- Ensure the safety of personnel involved in the destruction process by providing appropriate training and protective equipment.
- Identify and address any safety hazards or risks associated with destruction activities.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation within production and non-production areas of the facility; including, but not limited to the lunchrooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Sanitation of cannabis present areas, equipment, and processing lines.
- Operation of crate washers, trolley washer and tool/utensil washing stations.
- Daily and weekly tracking of tasks to be monitored in sanitation logs as per Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to perform individual tasks independently and accurately in a timely manner.
- Report any noncompliance concerns to ensure regulations are being met within the facility.
- Ensure all washroom supplies are always fully stocked.
- Ensure all PPE, gowning materials, and sanitation supplies for production are always fully stocked.
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Have, or could obtain a security clearance from the Canadian Government.
- Practical working knowledge of health and safety regulations and trained in WHMIS procedures to deal with equipment, cleaning chemicals, and facility upkeep.
- An understanding of janitorial and basic cleaning duties.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and kneel and able to lift 30 pounds or more.
- Must be able to provide clear criminal record check.
- Organizational skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to wear the appropriate PPE.
- Effective Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently and as a team member.
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends.

Your Environment:

- Work environment can be warm and humid.
- Standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to perform a series of repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
