The Sales and Marketing Intern is responsible for staying current on all industry trends and employing this knowledge when serving guests with friendly, individualized attention towards each guest.

**_Job Description _**

This is a contract role with possibility of extension.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive B2B commercial market share growth with a focus on premium and luxury hospitality brands that use customized uniforms for their staff.
- Set targets, performance objectives, in cooperation with the Director of Sales.
- Analyze sales data for the market and develop plans to address and sell to any gaps.
- Work with Director to create innovative programs for upselling and implement innovative go-to-market strategies in an effort to solicit more sales opportunities.
- Create, input, format and update a variety of projects and reports.
- Regular and clear communication with manager and internal and external team members on status of assigned project(s)
- Training within the sales department and related departments to gain understanding of workflows and business needs in the company
- Research hospitality groups, restaurants and other Companies to:
1. Discover the type of brand they want to represent.

2. Estimate staff requirements and turnover (to forecast requirements)

3. Research upcoming projects they are working on (new locations/brands/changes in brands)

4. Research key contacts and decision makers

**Daily Activities will include**:

- Cold calling and prospecting to generate leads, set up and pitch company profile for sales presentation and get key contact names and details (goal of at least 10-15 appointments every week)
- Develop sales presentations for presentation to prospects.
- Resolve any customer issues and customer complaints developing solutions and making recommendations to management.
- New business development in harmony with divisional goals

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Enrolled in Business program relating to Sales, Marketing, Business development, Supply chain management
- Competency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Competency in sales tracking, data mining and cold calling is an advantage
- Retail Store and hospitality management experience are important skills.
- Preferably 2-5 years’ (In GTA) experience in B2B, outside sales and preparing proposals and contracts.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, in multiple languages is considered an asset.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for Fashion Design is an asset

**Job Details**:
Term: Part time

Hours: 20-30 hours per week

Type: on site
- 267 Niagara Street, Toronto and 1212 Yonge Street

Pay rate: 17-20 / hour (depending on Experience)

Extension possibility: Yes
