Overview: We provide occupational therapy and support services to survivors of traumatic brain injury, concussion, and mental health injuries. We are looking to hire confident, motivated rehabilitation assistants to join our team throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

- Develop a positive, professional rapport with clients and colleagues
- Coordinate compatible session schedules with clients
- Follow the respective care plan, keep meticulous notes, and regularly communicate with stakeholders
- Collect and record all necessary information to enable adequate supervision and accountability
- Work with all types of injuries (e.g. orthopedic, chronic pain, cognitive, mental health)
- Additional duties and responsibilities as added/modified.

Qualifications:

- Relevant diploma
- Reliable transportation and BC driver’s license
- Exceptional interpersonal and clinical skills
- Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent organization and record keeping skills to maintain complex medical and rehabilitation services
- At least 5 years working with adults with severe traumatic brain injury
- Excellent conflict resolution skills, with experience managing challenging behaviours
- Ability to adapt to the fluid presentation of clients
- Ability to remain calm and professional while maintaining own and client safety

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
