Patient Care Representative

An exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about patient care CanSleep is seeking a _Patient Care Representative (Medical Office Assistant) _to join their team at their clinic in S_urrey, BC._
If you are superior with computers, able to multi task, and have previous experience in a similar position, we want to hear from you
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Patient scheduling
- Assist patients with appointment process and required documents
- Ensure all patient documents are completed accurately
- Insurance Processing
- Ensure claims/pre-approvals are completed and submitted
- Liaise with insurance companies as needed
- Educating and providing patients Home Sleep Apnea Testing devices within Provincial Accreditation Guidelines
- Tracking and monitoring patient data
- Patient education
**REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION**
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position (ie. medical office, customer service, administration)
- Superior communication skills and command of the English language (additional languages considered an asset)
- **Proficient with computers and software including Google and Microsoft platforms**:
- Able and willing to learn new software and technologies
- Able to multitask
- Able to work independently or as a team with mínimal supervision
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Work hours are between 9AM and 5PM, Monday to Friday (half hour unpaid lunch)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
