We’re looking for people who are willing to be a part of a hard working and engaged team that seeks to make a positive difference to our customers. We are looking for Junior Designers in our Ottawa location.

**Role**

The full-time **Designer **will work collaboratively as part of the design team providing, administration and design support at Wine Cellar Solutions. This individual should be innovative, creative and a team player, with a strong focus on detail, accuracy, and organization.

**Key Tasks**
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders internally and externally to the company.
- File preparation including scaling plans and setting up walls in SketchUp, and/or Chief Architect.
- Create 3D perspectives, customer presentation materials and sign off packages as required.
- Create sign-off elevations.
- Perform site measures.
- Contribute to counter top quotes by sending layouts and following up on quotes.
- Complete site layouts as directed, individually or as a team, all levels from simple to high end and complex; site work can be 25% of the job.
- Generate pertinent, accurate information on appliances and special accessory items.
- Follow up on general inquiries from clients.
- Assist customers with small independent projects.
- When applicable & instructed, review co-worker’s design and 3D packages as a cross check.
- Provide showroom support as required.
- Recognize and report discrepancies.

- Ability to analyze and interpret user requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, interact well with all employees and have a high degree of attention to detail.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Completion of a recognized Interior Design Program preferred.
- Experience in design and sales of kitchen cabinetry is an asset.
- Experience using Sketchup, and Chief Architect design software is a bonus.
- Bilingual: English and French

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

- Paid time off

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

- Ottawa, ON K1B 3T3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
