**Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking and responsible individual to join our Warehouse team as a Warehouse Lead in a part-time role.**

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for maintaining the warehouse, loading and receiving customer freight, and the proper receiving and loading of customer freight. Working within a small group you will be relied upon to safely receive and load customer freight from the warehouse onto company or customer trucks. As well you will be responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the warehouse environment. Other projects or tasks may be assigned from time to time.

**Job Summary**:

- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (pull, wrap, label, ship, etc.).
- Receive and process shipments arriving at the warehouse.
- Maintain and organize customer freight in the warehouse.
- Complete proper inspection and maintenance of company equipment.
- Report any damage to freight and discrepancies on shipping paperwork.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, and bins accordingly.
- Load and unload trucks using company equipment.
- Operate warehouse forklift vehicles and equipment.
- Drive company vehicles as required for pickup and delivery of customer freight.
- Follow quality service standards.
- Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment.

**Shift Times**:
5:00am-9:00am, Monday to Friday

Shift days and times may vary depending on volume of work and business needs.

Ability to work longer hours based on volume of work a plus.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Good organizational, multitasking and time management skills
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- 25 years old or older, due to insurance purposes
- Forklift driving certified and experience
- Ability to pass criminal record check
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 10kg repetitively
- Familiarity with warehousing best practices
- Experience driving 5- and 3-Ton trucks considered an asset
- Is a quick learner and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Able to assess stressful situations in a calm manner and make decisions based on changing information
- Ability to effectively handle critical issues and work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Steel-toed boots
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Fun, positive and professional attitude
- Punctual and flexible with work hours based on volume of work during busy seasons
- Work experience as a warehouse worker considered an asset but not required

**Compensation**:
$25 per hour

**Location**:
Saanichton, BC

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saanichton, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
