**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a **Talent Management Coordinator** (part time, 3-day week) who will be an integral part of the People and Culture (P&C) team to support the growing area of talent management and development across the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with and support hiring managers in the screening and selection of potential talent, including checking references
- Assist in the identification of staff development needs and opportunities, and the provision of appropriate training to support performance goals
- Coordinate the delivery of training and related activities, ensuring a supportive and positive experience for staff
- Assist in the development and distribution of feedback evaluation surveys, including data reporting and analysis
- Track and maintain talent development data and materials ensuring that participants have what they need in advance and information is effectively managed in the system
- Draft, review and edit a variety of P&C materials, conduct research, and exercise considerable judgment in handling confidential information
- Facilitate staff comprehension of, and adherence to human resource policies and procedures in compliance with relevant employment legislation
- Provide support in upholding YSM’s Biblical foundations and values, and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion principles

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma or university degree in HR Management or Business
- 2-3 years’ HR experience in recruitment, training and development in a coordinating role
- Working knowledge of behavioural and situational interview techniques
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Employment Standards Act and human rights legislation, including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles and practices
- CHRP in-progress would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive issues with confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
- Ability to work effectively - both independently and within a team environment - and to successfully manage multiple priorities
- Strong project coordination and execution skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Natural curiosity and the ability to learn new skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS (e.g. BambooHR), G-Suite and tools/apps for work collaboration
- A follower of Jesus - model a positive and demonstrable Christian presence and vibrant Christian practice
