**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support to students in the classroom, including one-on-one assistance and small group instruction
- Help create a positive and engaging learning environment for children
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

- Experience with Montessori an asset but not required
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in supporting the development of young children
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment

**Skills**:

- Classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
- Ability to educate and engage young children through interactive activities and lessons
