WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Join our Housekeeping Team at the Renaissance as a Rooms Quality Inspector This permanent full-time position offers a minimum of 30 hours per week at $20 an hour.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB
As a Rooms Quality Inspector, you'll be the backbone of our cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your role includes executing special cleaning projects and supporting the Style Management team. You'll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and play a crucial part in the success of the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel.

**Some of your responsibilities include**:

- Daily Support: Assist Style Supervisors with room inspections, assignments, and other duties to keep our operations running smoothly.
- Quality Assurance: Audit guest rooms to maintain top-tier cleanliness standards set by management.
- Executive Assistance: Support the Executive Stylist with room and public space preparations, inventory management, and overseeing special projects like carpet cleaning and detailed room cleaning.
- Hands-On Participation: Engage in daily operations, including room preparation, cleaning, maintaining inventory, laundry duties, and fulfilling guest requests.
- Coordination: Act as a liaison between Style, Reception, and Engineering to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals and maintenance issues are promptly addressed.
- Training and Development: Assist in training and developing Stylists to ensure consistent quality and performance.
- Inventory Management: Handle purchase orders and control storage rooms to keep everything organized.
- Guest Interaction: Always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of the hotel, its Discoverer’s, and your fellow ambassadors at all times.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance across the Style department.
- Versatility: Perform various duties as assigned to keep our operations efficient and effective.
