Aevitas is currently seeking a Site Service Representative/AZ Driver working out of our Ayr, Ontario location. This position involves the operation of a commercial motor vehicle and the handling and transport of hazardous waste in an environmentally responsible manner.

**This position does not involve any travel across the Canadian/United States border but our drivers are expected to have open availability for overnight trips.**

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Identify, package, label hazardous and non-hazardous materials for transport
- Accurately complete manifests, bills of lading and associated paperwork
- Ensure loads are secure
- Adhere to vehicle weight limits and ensure proper utilization of Aevitas equipment
- Ensure proper placarding of vehicles
- Accurately complete and maintain daily logs, daily vehicle inspections, trip reports, expense reports and other reports as required
- Comply with legal requirements and internal company policies and procedures
- Ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order at all times
- Maintain communication with management, sales and dispatch
- Maintain a courteous and professional attitude towards customers and other employees
- Additional duties as assigned

**Education and Experience**
- High School Graduate or Grade 12 equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years experience operating a commercial motor vehicle
- Hazardous waste experience preferred

**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and Other Requirements**
- Hold a valid AZ Commercial Motor Vehicle License
- Must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Successfully complete a criminal records background check
- Must be willing to participate in a drug and alcohol monitoring program

**Work Environment**
- Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects greater than fifty (50) pounds frequently.
- Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting.
- Work outdoors and/or driving a video/GPS monitored vehicle.
- Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise and weather extremes
