We are currently hiring for the position of AZ Driver at our Ayr, Ontario location. This is a full-time, permanent role with a comprehensive compensation package that includes:

**Responsibilities**
This position entails the operation of a commercial motor vehicle, specializing in the handling and transportation of hazardous waste with a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility. It provides an exciting opportunity for individuals who prioritize attention to detail, exhibit a strong commitment to safety, and are dedicated to environmental stewardship. Importantly, this role does not involve any travel across the Canada/United States border. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identify, Package, and Label Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Materials: Ensure proper handling and categorization for safe transport.
Complete Hazardous Materials Documentation: Accurately fill out manifests, bills of lading, and associated paperwork.
Secure Loads: Load materials for transportation and implement measures to guarantee the secure transportation of materials.
Adhere to Vehicle Weight Limits: Ensure compliance with weight regulations and optimize the use of Aevitas equipment.
Proper Placarding of Vehicles: Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded for hazardous materials transportation.
Maintain Documentation: Accurately complete and manage daily logs, vehicle inspections, trip reports, expense reports, and other required paperwork.
Compliance: Adhere to legal requirements and internal company policies and procedures.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with management, sales, and dispatch teams.
Professional Conduct: Uphold a courteous and professional attitude towards customers and fellow employees.
Additional Duties: Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned.
**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and Other Requirements**
Hold a valid AZ Commercial Motor Vehicle License.
3 years commercial driving experience.
Must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Successfully complete a criminal records background check.
Must be willing to participate in a drug and alcohol monitoring program.
**Work Environment**
Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
Required to exert physical effort in handling objects greater than fifty (50) pounds frequently.
Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting.
Work outdoors and driving a video/GPS monitored vehicle.
Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
