**THE ROLE**
The role of National Concessions Manager is to oversee the existing portfolio of Concessions services, ensuring continuity of services across CAF bases and wings. The individual in this role must establish relationships with personnel across bases and wings, understand their specific service needs, and evaluate new or enhanced service delivery opportunities and the associated profitability and risk. They will research and identify potential new markets & businesses to launch new franchisee/concessions on bases and wings.

In addition, the person in this role should be comfortable with reading and understanding basic floor plans to support virtual site visits and discussions with Concessionaires and base personnel. They will ensure annual negotiations and renewals are ratified. They will work closely with CANEX District and Store Managers, supporting both CANEX staff and Concessionaires while creating opportunities to drive foot traffic.

This individual will prepare and deliver presentations and reports on service challenges/opportunities and provide recommendations to senior leadership. They will authorize, monitor and record financial transactions/commitments within an approved budget.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, AND several years of experience in a retail environment, or a related field

**Experience**

In operations of diverse retail environments

In managing contracts and service programs

In the analysis and interpretation of financial statements

In franchise management

In asset protection

In loss prevention

In budget administration

In supervising the work of others

Bilingual Essential

This position has an assigned location and may allow flexible work options such as remote or hybrid work but the employee must be able to report to the assigned work location at their own cost if required. Remote work may be required depending on health and safety considerations.
