As a Truck Driver - Class A, you will drive mostly bulk, moving floor and flatbed trailers to deliver products to our clients. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safe and effective handling of our different soils, composts and substrates (bulk and bags). Amongst other things, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's good image with the clients and complete the required shipping/transportation documents while verifying the accuracy of the documents.

You could also be asked to operate an excavator, front-end loader and forklift truck to load the trucks.

If you have the following qualifications, you are the person we are looking for- Valid Class A driver's license- More than 8 years of experience to related tasks- Good driving record (points/accidents)- Have an energy efficient approach- Significant experience in customer service and deliveries- Good geographical knowledge of Ontario and Quebec roads- Good knowledge of general mechanics- Ability to communicate and build relationships with customers- Be autonomous and able to drive in a variety of weather conditions- Have the ability to drive heavy equipment, an asset.

This position is based on approximately 9 to 10 months per year. You must be available during the day and evening. The hours are approximately 60 to 70 hours per week, and the short trips will allow you to go back home every night.

A titre de camionneur - classe A, vous conduirez principalement des remorques de vrac, planchers mobiles et des remorques à plateau à destination de nos clients. Le camionneur sera responsable de la manutention sécuritaire et efficace de nos différents terreaux, composts et substrats en vrac et en sacs. Entre autres, vous êtes responsable de la bonne image de la compagnie auprès de nos clients et vous avez à compléter les documents de livraison ou de transport tout en vous assurant de l'exactitude des documents.

Vous pouvez aussi être appelé à utiliser une pelle mécanique, une chargeuse frontale ou un chariot élévateur pour le chargement de camions.

Si vous possédez les qualifications suivantes, vous êtes la personne que nous recherchons:
- Possédez un permis de classe A validé- Avoir plus de 8 ans d'expérience à des tâches connexes- Possédez un bon dossier de conduite (points/accidents)- Avoir une conduite éco énergétique- Avoir une expérience au niveau du service à la clientèle et de la livraison- Avoir une bonne connaissance géographique des routes de l'Ontario et du Québec- Avoir une bonne connaissance de la mécanique générale- Habileté à communiquer et à développer des relations avec les clients- Etre autonome et habile dans la conduite sous différentes conditions météorologiques- Habileté à conduire des équipements lourds, un atout.

Ce poste est sur une base d'environ 9 a 10 mois par année. Vous devez être disponible de jour et de soir. Les heures de travail sont de 60-70 heures par semaine et les courts voyages font en sorte que vous serez de retour a la maison tous les soirs.
