As a Truck Driver - Class A, you will drive mostly bulk, moving floor and flatbed trailers to deliver products to our clients. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safe and effective handling of our different soils, composts, and substrates (bulk and bags). Amongst other things, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s good image with the clients and complete the required shipping/transportation documents while verifying the accuracy of the documents.
If you have the following qualifications, you are the person we are looking for- Valid Class A driver’s license or Class 1 (Quebec)- More than 8 years of experience to related tasks.- Good driving record (points/accidents)- Have an energy efficient approach.- Significant experience in customer service and deliveries.- Good geographical knowledge of Ontario and Quebec roads.- Good knowledge of general mechanics.- Ability to communicate and build relationships with customers.- Be autonomous and able to drive in a variety of weather conditions.- Have the ability to drive heavy equipment is an asset.- You must be available during the day and evening. The hours are approximately 60 hours per week, and the short trips will allow you to go back home every night.

End date: End of November 2024 (possibility of being extended)
**Salary**: Based on experience hourly range: $26.00 - $29.00 (paid for overtime)
Job status: Full-time, seasonal contract
Work schedule: approx. 60 hours per week (must be available day and night and possibly during the weekend)

- À titre de camionneur, vous conduirez principalement des remorques de vrac, planchers mobiles et des remorques à plateau à destination de nos clients. Le camionneur sera responsable de la manutention sécuritaire et efficace de nos différents terreaux, compost et substrats en vrac et en sacs. Entre autres, vous êtes responsable de la bonne image de la compagnie auprès de nos clients et vous avez à compléter les documents de livraison ou de transport tout en vous assurant de l’exactitude des documents.

- Plus de 8 ans d'expérience dans des tâches similaires.-
- Bon dossier de conduite (points/accidents)-
- Approche écoénergétique.-
- Expérience significative en service à la clientèle et en livraison.-
- Bonne connaissance géographique des routes de l'Ontario et du Québec.-
- Bonne connaissance de la mécanique générale.-
- Capacité à communiquer et à établir des relations avec les clients.-
- Être autonome et capable de conduire dans diverses conditions météorologiques.-
- Expérience de la conduite d’un chariot élévateur de type « araignée »-
- Vous devez être disponible pendant la journée et le soir.
