**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
Supporting the Director of Education, the primary objective of the position is to oversee and lead the development and delivery of Métis early years programs, initiatives, research, and policy development, ensuring compliance with guidelines and policies, and meeting program standards. They develop, monitor and report on key outcomes, using data collection and evidence-based practices for service delivery. The Manager, Family Programs and Services formulates program policies and procedures, evaluates programs, and organizes program activities and events. The Manager, Family Programs and Services contributes to communication materials, maintains records and statistics, and handles financial management, including budget preparation, monitoring, tracking, and reporting. They supervise staff, both employees and contractors, conducting performance evaluations and participating in recruitment and selection processes. Additionally, the role involves building and fostering strong relationships and engaging with Chartered Communities, provincial and federal partners, service providers and representing the organization at external events.
