Electronics Soldering Technician

XeMODeX is a GTA based, fast growing automotive electronics manufacturing and remanufacturing company for the past 17 years.

Currently we have an opening for a Manual Electronics Soldering Technician at our Oakville plant.

**Job Description**:
You will be working in our brand new, fully air-conditioned facility in Oakville. Where you'll test and repair automotive control units. In addition, you will be manually re-flowing and replacing SMT components under the microscope. This job does not require you to have any electronic troubleshooting experience, but you must possess excellent soldering skills and great hand-eye coordination.

Skills Requirements:

- Hand soldering skills according to the IPC 7711/7721 standard.
- Ability to work under the microscope.
- Proficient with using hot air station to remove micros and other SMT components of various sizes.
- Excellent surface preparation skills.
- Basic computer skills, as you will be required to use programming software to flash various chips.

**Please Note* During the interview process you will be asked to demonstrate your soldering skills.**

**Education**:
Electronics Technician Diploma, 2 or 3 years program.
