**Lead Technician**

**Location: London, ON**

Alpha Door Systems Inc is seeking an Overhead door Technician Team Lead to join our team in London, ON. This position will be responsible for the supervision of a team of technicians performing work on site at customer locations. The Lead Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safety of employees and customers, and will also provide leadership and training for the technicians under their direction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership and training to the technicians under their direction.
- Supervise and mentor the technicians while they are working at the customer site.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and communicate with the customers regarding the results of those inspections.
- Communicate with the management about any problems or issues that arise during work time.
- Work with management to determine when, where, and what type of work is needed.
- Follow work rules (e.g. rest periods, mandatory personal safety practices, etc.)and keep work area clean.
- Ensure that all equipment is safe for use by the technicians after they are done with it.
- Ensure that all work is completed on time and meet quality standards set by our customers.
- Communicate with managers about any problems or issues that arise during work time.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years’ overhead door, dock and restraint experience
- Must be able to climb ladders, work at heights, and operate power tools including but not limited to grinders, drills, saws, etc., must be able to stand for long periods of time, sit down, walk, bend at heights and perform repetitive motions.
- Valid G Licence
- CSA approved work boots and provide own hand tools (ie: hammer, screw drivers, wrenches, sockets). Company will provide trade specific tools.
- Must be available to work on call rotations with other crews

Compensation based on experience. Uniforms provided. WAH/forklift/aerial lift training is provided. All necessary PPE is provided. Specialty tools & power tools are provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $29.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Overhead door/dock/restraint: 2 years (required)
