Are you a savvy relationship-builder with a collaborative, consultative approach, a proven understanding of media and excellent writing and presentation skills?The Communications and Media Relations Manager position is responsible to take ownership and lead the communication, public relations, social media and influencer strategies. **The job involves**:
- Identifying and executing opportunities through multiple media channels to enhance the profile of Niagara Casinos, supporting business objectives and building brand awareness with target audiences
- Establishing and executing short and long term communication, social and influencer strategies
- Preparing and managing annual budgets for media opportunities, social media, and destination marketing initiatives
- Creating earned media opportunities, fielding media inquiries, managing onsite media interviews, press conferences, media responses and attending sponsored community events
- Monitoring trends and feedback to leverage opportunities; producing key performance metrics that will direct future public relations, social media and influencer strategies and tactics
- Leading the development and execution of social media channels, content and engagement
- Developing, planning and implementing requirements for corporate compliance to ongoing standards including Responsible Gaming, AGCO Standards and French Language Service Act
- Highest standards of ethical behaviour, professionalism and confidentiality
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
- University degree or college diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or equivalent advanced degree
- Minimum five years proven communications, public relations or other relevant experience
- Demonstrated leadership, management and team building skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior project management, strategic planning and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of social media and brand development
