**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Corporate Chef is responsible for providing high level culinary expertise, creativity and administrative support to the R&D department. Develop and implement prototypes, menu recipes, refinement of kitchen systems, concept development, and food and equipment specifications. Manage and consult in the strategic direction for the brand’s culinary operations. Additional duties will be assigned as necessary. Travel will be required.

**COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & PERKS**
- Total compensation ranging from $80,000 - $90,000,
- Salary reviewed annually

**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Initiate and develop new culinary products, refinements and food showings. Drive research and food ideation in accordance with brand, trend, labor and price.
- Constantly review product upgrades to improve execution and profit.
- Compile and present strategic recommendations directly impacting all culinary operations to senior management.
- Participate on the menu teams and collaborate with Training for all food rollouts.
- Consult directly with senior management on culinary projects and troubleshooting.
- Regularly conduct culinary research or training in the corporate test kitchen or Field kitchens.
- Respond in person to customer requests, as appropriate.
- Manage the Nutritional information provided to our guests (I.e. Allergy Guides)
- Oversee and be involved in food photo shoots and food training videos.
- Oversee recipe databases
- Maintain labor coefficients and all labor analysis of recipes.
- Assist in food menu creation and implementation to Hudsons standards
- Uphold a positive culture by cultivating relationships, leading by example, and mentoring your team members
- Train and coach staff in all kitchen positions and systems
- Maintain excellent food execution and food safety compliance, and kitchen operational health & safety
- Support inventory, labor costs and cost of goods reporting
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to perform well independently as well as on a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to create and conduct presentations and facilitate meetings on a regular basis
- Ability to work neatly, efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail

- Minimum 6 years of cooking and culinary supervision
- Knowledge of the standards and regulations for food preparation
- Red Seal Designation
- Food Safety Certification
- 2 years Multi Unit Restaurant Culinary Experience.
- Strong Leadership and Mentoring Skills.
- Experience working with store level Owner Operators.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and profitability.
- Previous experience opening food establishments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
