**Job description**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain constant communication with Billing & Collections Administrator and Member Services Supervisor with a personal commitment to provide service to members across all of our locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems callers may have. Deductive and critical thinking in determining the status of a members account and billing issues in order to report them accurately to the member and work with them to resolve.
- Participate in all staff related meetings and other required activities.
- Flexible with willingness to, assist colleagues with other duties
- Continually seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Ability to work alone and multi task efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills.
- Must be a mature and trustworthy individual with the ability to work on their own
- Ability to prioritize workload and work to deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work to own initiative as well as able to liaise with colleagues.
- Strong telephone skills and experience.
- Administrative duties including proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar.
- Proven track record in increasing revenues received through billing & collection processes.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- High School Diploma or GED
- Education and prior experience in billing/collections as related to customer service is required
- Proven experience in customer care and issue management is an asset

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- **Job timings will be Mon - Fri between 9am to 5pm**:

- Job includes 90% working in an office, in front of a computer and on the phone.
- The job calls for strong time management between multiple departments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
