**Job Summary**:
A Flood Technician is the heartbeat of any Restoration Company. The PPCR Surrey Office is looking to transform this role into an all-encompassing Full-Service Technician to serve our customers better. If you are looking for a challenge as a Flood Tech, then this is the role for you. In this position, you will help transform your skills as a Flood tech to learn various other aspects of Restoration, including Construction, Repairs and Contents Handling. You will be considered a Full-Service Technician.

Full-Service technicians are both urgent and thoughtful in their work, lending their current skills to the overall project while gaining and honing new ones. In this way, a Full-Service Technician is accountable for completing all site work that progresses the job to a high-quality conclusion.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing Flood-related tasks, such as completing general demolition, removing construction materials, flood/water extraction, content manipulation, initial drywall cuts.
- Performing Contents-related tasks, such as, inspections, pack-outs, processing, storing, cleaning and pack-backs.
- Performing Construction-related tasks, such as installing baseboards, painting, installing installation, vapour barriers, drywall board-ups, taping, mudding, and sanding.
- Following all company policies and standards including health and safety policies and procedures.
- Practicing good housekeeping discipline on job sites and in the warehouse.
- Dealing with a changing work environment daily and developing knowledge of various complex jobs.
- Completing your timecard daily.
- Utilizing previous knowledge learned and developed through previous work experience to complete jobs in an efficient and timely manner.
- Assisting with and performing tasks assigned to you by the Project Management Team, Site Manager, and other supervisory positions.
- Working with our project management software, Restorify.
- Completing the necessary documentation related to a job to assure a standardized flow to accrue costs of a claim accurately.
- Being able to interpret and create scopes for jobs.
- Maintaining professionalism and presenting Platinum Pro-Claim positively to various stakeholders.

**Job Requirements**:

- Must have a class 5 or N drivers license.
- Having a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- A willingness to assist and learn different departmental tasks related to the restoration process.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Taking pride in their work and being detailed oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous work experience in the Restoration industry (Flood or Contents) is considered an asset.
- Any work experience or schooling related to carpentry or drywalling is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift industrial fans weighing 30 to 40 pounds.
- Ability to load and unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers weighing 130 to 140 pounds.
- Having a WRT designation is considered an asset.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Participating on our emergency on-call list.

**Compensation**:
**_Wage: _**$20.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)**:
