Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing a team of cooks, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food to our customers. **Duties**:

- Plan and create menus that are innovative and appealing to our customers
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
- Monitor food costs and work towards maximizing profitability
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu development

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food handling, kitchen operations, and food safety standards
- Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create unique and delicious dishes
- Previous experience in restaurant management is preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a team of cooks and maintain a positive work environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
