**Traducteur ou traductrice (français canadien vers l'anglais) - Secteur gouvernemental**

Le traducteur ou la traductrice - Secteur gouvernemental traduit du français canadien vers l'anglais des documents dans les domaines de l'administration, de la formation et de l'informatique pour des ministères et organismes fédéraux. Le ou la titulaire du poste doit s'assurer de la qualité linguistique de ses projets et avoir une très bonne méthodologie de recherche terminologique. Les textes à traduire sont généralement courts, les échéances de livraison sont serrées et toutes les traductions se font à l'aide d'outils d'aide à la traduction dans un environnement entièrement informatisé. Il s'agit d'un poste permanent, à temps plein (37,5 heures par semaine), entièrement en télétravail.

- Traduire de l'anglais vers le français canadien des documents de nature variée
- Réviser des traductions générées par un moteur de traduction automatique (postédition) Effectuer des recherches terminologiques et répondre aux exigences des clients

Requis
- Baccalauréat en traduction de l'anglais vers le français canadien
- Parfait bilinguisme anglais-français et maîtrise des particularités du français canadien
- Capacité à travailler sous pression et à respecter des échéances
- Intérêt pour la technologie, débrouillardise et capacité d'apprentissage marquée

Atouts
- Cote de fiabilité ou cote de sécurité niveau Secret de Travaux publics et services gouvernementaux
- Agrément d'un ordre professionnel de traducteurs (OTTIAQ, ATIO ou CTTIC) Expérience en traduction dans un cabinet de traduction ou au sein d'un service de traduction de l'français canadien vers le français canadien

**Translator (Canadian French to English) - Government Sector**

The Translator - Government Sector translates documents from Canadian French to English in the fields of administration, training and information technology for federal departments and agencies. They must ensure the linguistic quality of their work and use a very good terminological research methodology. The texts to be translated are generally short, the deadlines are tight, and all translations are done with the help of translation tools in a fully computerized environment. This is Permanent position, full time (37.5 hours per week), working entirely from home.

**What You Will Do
- Translate a variety of texts from Canadian French to English
- Review translations generated by an automatic translation engine (post-editing) Conduct terminology research and respond to client requirements

**To Be Successful You Will Have**

Required
- Bachelor's degree in translation from Canadian French to English
- Perfectly bilingual in French and English and mastery of the particularities of English
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Interest in technology, resourcefulness, and strong learning ability

Assets
- Reliability status or Secret clearance from Public Works and Government Services Canada
- Certification from a professional translation association (OTTIAQ, ATIO or CTTIC) Translation experience in a translation agency or in a translation service from Canadian French to English
