Estimator/project Coordinator Restoration

Job description

The Estimator/Project Coordinator is accountable for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager (PM).

Organization of projects as to not interrupt client living pattern Coordinate the care/protection of client belongings during the restoration process.

Prepare quotations on Xactimate software

Preparation for time tables on projects

Assignments and schedule of sub trade

Secure materials selection and accurate ordering

Obtaining approval for all work and sub trades and any orders that have to be changed

Managing sub trades with budget guidelines

Adhering to short project completion dates

Reporting to and assist senior project managers

Preparation of weekly report on job progress, problems and solutions

General Requirements: College diploma in engineering, architecture or construction related fields Minimum 3 years work experience in construction/restoration industry

Certification: IICRC Certified in Water/Fire Restoration* an asset

3 years of experience working in the Fire/Water Restoration industry or equivalent in construction

Proficient in Xactimate/XACTanalysis or equivalent estimating software* an asset (Autocad).

Perform restoration emergency jobs

The ability to work in a team environment

Excellent negotiating skills Willingness to accept accountability

Ability to multitask Strong drive to see project through to completion Excel in problem solving Entrepreneurial attitude Resourceful

Must be able to work evenings and weekends as per the needs of the business.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
