Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
Project Management:
- Plan, organize, and oversee commercial painting projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Financial administration including the monitoring of project costs, invoicing and costs approval.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
Estimating:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial painting projects.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to determine material and labor requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Client Relations:
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively to address client concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide leadership and support to project teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial painting project management and estimating an asset.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is ideal but not required
- Painting or construction related experience an asset.
