The Original Cakerie is Canada's leading and largest privately-owned frozen dessert manufacturer. We have been experiencing exponential growth and as a result, we are able to offer**Full Time PM / AM Setup**positions.

**Duties include**:

- Equipment set up and troubleshooting adjustments, to keep products within standard and the line running at or above required performance.
- Maintaining the required hygiene standards of the equipment and the facility, consistent with GMP standards and Master Sanitation Schedules.
- Daily management of the facility's wastewater treatment system.
- Removing waste from the production areas as needed.
- Safe use, storage and maintenance of all company supplied cleaning equipment and materials.
- Supporting contract cleaning and maintenance services when necessary.
- Maintaining all BRC Audit Paperwork and other required documentation as may be required.
- Liaising with appropriate staff throughout the shift to ensure continuous process and quality standards.
- Supporting line staff on day-to-day basis for general troubleshooting/problem solving/conflict resolution.
- Adhering to safety, quality and performance standards.
- Supporting training and continuous learning activities within the department.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work with all chemical cleaning agents including fungicides and possible insecticides.
- Excellent attendance record, demonstrating reliability.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, focusing on the root causes and not the symptoms.
- Strong initiative to achieve results.
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting, climb stairs, navigate around manufacturing equipment, and work with a sense of urgency.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; a team player.
- Ability to work with limited or no supervision.
- Experience using computers and HMI panels.

**Schedule**:
Schedules are based on operational needs and flexibility is required for scheduling purposes.

**The successful applicant will expect to achieve**:
Proficiency in the proper set-up and maintenance of all equipment.

**What We Offer**
- Pay rate: $22.12 hr.
- $ 1000 dollar Referral Bonus
- Night Premium is $1.5 (for PM Shift that are starting between 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM).
- 8-hour shifts for 5 days.
- AM Shift:2:00AM to 8:00AM Monday to Saturday. 6:00AMon Sundays.
- PM Shift: 8:00 PM to 12:00AM Monday to Friday. 2:00PM to 6:00PM (Saturday and Sunday)
- An extended health care package including dental will be applicable after the successful completion of your probationary period.
- Employer contribution to Union pension plan.
