Parts Advisor

The Parts Advisor works within our Parts and Service department by ensuring all customer part sales needs are met, handling outgoing and incoming freight, and sourcing alternatives solutions where necessary.

**Main Duties**:

- Process sales order into ERP;
- Assist customer with a sense of urgency by understanding their needs, recommending; products, updated order statuses and troubleshooting issues;
- Issuing Returned Materials Authorizations and coordinating with customers;
- Develop and update vendor reference material such as price pages and catalogues;
- Maintaining regular communication with dealer network by making regular calls, understanding their needs, and anticipating new part sales opportunities;
- Organize and maintain documentation supporting order fulfillment, distribution means, pricing, and contractual obligations (inventory and parts sales);
- Assist in creating packing slips and all border paperwork/forms and obtain proper certification when needed;
- Work closely with Production Staff and Shipping/Receiving department to get orders built and shipped;
- Excellent product knowledge to anticipate dealer needs.

**Qualification & Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in part sales in agriculture(preferred) or automotive industries
- Positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication (ability to interface with personnel, outside customers, and different functional groups within the business units)
- Should also have good attention to detail, commercial awareness, technical knowledge, and the ability to work to deadlines
- Intermediate computer experience and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Experience with QuickBooks an asset
- Able to follow oral and written instructions in English
- Very good organizational and planning skills
- Capacity to solve problems using good judgement
- Able to work under pressure with mínimal supervision
- Driven to succeed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- The role will primarily require sitting for long periods of time in an office environment
- The role will require occasional walking around the facility to verify inventory levels and review receiving discrepancies when needed
- Proper personal protective equipment is required when on the production floor, assembly floor, parts room or other areas that state PPE is required to be worn; such as, steel toes, hearing protection, and safety glasses

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Parts Sales: 2 years (preferred)
